On September 18-20, 2019 the training «Project Management Tools and Techniques» was held with support of the Euratom National Contact Point in Ukraine. The training is a planned CSA event of the UAinEuratom project (GA # 822257), funded by the EURATOM Program of the European Commission (HORIZON 2020) and is comprised in the cycle of planned trainings “Towards Improvement of Project Proposals and Project Management under Horizon2020”.
The main objective of the training cycle is to increase knowledge and skills on project planning and management, in particular, projects of the European Commission Framework Programs HORIZON 2020, HORIZON EUROPE. The training audience is Ukrainian organizations involved in the nuclear industry of Ukraine, which are actual or potential participants in the Euratom Program projects, HORIZON 2020, HORIZON EUROPE.
The objectives of «Project Management Tools and Techniques» training are the following:
A limited number of participants attended the training. 15 participants were divided into 3 groups, each of which worked on its own project. Two groups chose projects on creating proposals for Euratom Program calls (in fact, these were two scientific ideas from training participants). The third group chose a scientific- infrastructure project (creation of a scientific museum on the NSC KIPT basis).
At the end of the training, the participants received certificates from the Project Management Bureau consulting company, licensed by the Ukrainian Project Management Association according to the rules that comply with the standards of the IPMA International Project Management Association (IPMA).
